if he had ever sat at the graveyard. Without the least hesitation, Baba said, “Yes.” Till then he was not aware that it was because of that fact the people were angry with him. he was replying to every question put to him. after sometime, Baba on seeing them angry asked them very softly the reason behind their anger. They then told him everything and added that they had come there to kill him. Without feeling concerned or frightened, Baba had a good laugh. Then he cast a smiling look at them saying, “What a huge arrangement to kill one without any arms!” added he, “i am all alone and unarmed, on the other hand you are about hundred people, standing with arms. if you kill me, then i have nothing to say or do. if i say that i have never defecated at the graveyard of the Fakir, then will you believe me? You may think that i am saying this out of fear for my life. Now tell me what to do to dispel off this false belief?” On hearing these words, the old man said, “We have heard that you make a circle of the grave from the left hand side and utter mantras for intimidation. if you make a round of the grave from the right hand side, then we will take it for granted that you made the circle of the same with no evil design.” On hearing these words, Baba was glad to dispel their misapprehension by making a circle of the grave from the right hand side. Right from the beginning, the conspirators got impressed by Baba’s sweet behaviour, soft words and unconcerned look. it was his sweet behaviour that attracted them towards Baba. and then and then only was their misapprehension dispelled. On realizing that he was a sage indeed, the old man with hands folded begged an apology saying, “if we have committed the evil deed out of misapprehension, then it could have been a heinous crime.” With these and many other words of apology, he paid obeisance to Baba. They then requested Baba not to disclose the incident, because if the hindus in the local area came to learn that a hindu monk was insulted, there might be turbulence for nothing.
