he convinced us, “Samsār me jitni āshakti hai, utnahi bandhan. Āshakti kamti karo, dukh bhi kamti hoga. Jin jin padārthome āshhakti hoti hai, un padārthame vichārse dosh dristi karke unkā tyag karnā chāhiye.”
One day Baba said, when a King or an emperor is out in his vehicle a man is seen standing at his back adoring and admiring the King or the emperor in a good many ways. and another man is seen shouting, “Khabardar! Hoshiyar ho ke jana. Aapka pita pitamah bade bade bahadur woh bhi sab chale gaye. Aapko bhi ek roj jana padega. Aage jo Bhat hai uski baat mat sunna. Yahi sansar me jitna padarth sabhi anitya vastu hai, usme mohit nahin hona. Bhool mat jana. Bahut manushyon se bhool ho jati hai. Kabhi Ahankar mat karna. Ahankar se maya me atak jaoge—hoshiyar hoke rahna. Yeh jitni fauj hai, lashkar hai, usme se koi aapko kuch bhi sahayta nahi karega. Yeh sab Parthiv padarth sab yahan pada rahega. Lest one should see the work of the other, a partition was made between them. The first one gave an artistic expression to flowers, leaves, creepers, birds and butterflies on the marble wall, while the second one very carefully got the marble wall polished as smooth as a mirror. and he drew nothing on it.
The King was informed that both the artists had completed their
