to know that everyday Bhandara was the same in the month of agrahayana (November).
The Bhandaras at the banks of Jhunsi were something to behold. hundreds and thousands of people would come there every day in the morning, collect their eatables, have their food and the whole thing took place amidst discipline and without bustle. There was no disturbance, no roar of egotism or the thunder of anger. The one who is fed, knows that he has what the Lord has given him and the one who feeds, devoid of any egotism says—
साई सबकधो देत हैं पधोशत हैं ददि िैि लधोक िमधो मेिधो कहे तते िीचे िैि
sāī sabako deta haiṃ pośata haiṃ dina raina loka namo mero kahe tate nīce naina
Everything is donated to us by God who is also the source of our nourishment day in and day out. But when people say that it is i who has done it i lower my eyes in shame.
Baba’s few “Dohas” are mentioned below. 1 बहुत बीतत, थधोड़ी िही, क्षण क्षण औथ तबहाय।
थधोड़े ददि के कािण, िा कलंक लग जाय।
bahuta bīti, thoḍaī rahī, kṣaṇa kṣaṇa autha bihāya, thoḍae dina ke kāraṇa, nā kalaṃka laga jāya.
a long time has passed away, while limited time remains, every second has gone by, so why earn a blemish for a very short period of time.
२ जलमें बसे कुमुददिी, चंद् बसे आकाश जधो जाहुके मि बसे, सधो ताहुके पास।
jalameṃ base kumudinī, caṃdra base ākāśa jo jāhuke mana base, so tāhuke pāsa,
