३ तबिा भाग् जग सुख कहाँ, मधोक्ष कहाँ िि हधोय, भधोग मधोक्ष जधो िि चहे, पुण् कमावे सधोय!
binā bhāgya jaga sukha kahāṃ, mokṣa kahāṃ nara hoya, bhoga mokṣa jo nara cahe, puṇya kamāve soya!
None can enjoy worldly happiness without his destined fate. ‘Moksha’ or salvation is something far beyond one’s reach. The person who seeks happiness or liberation needs to be virtuous in his deeds.
४ चाह गई, सचंता गई, मिमें िहीं प्रवाह र्जस मिमें संतधोष है, वही शहेिशाह
cāha gaī, ciṃtā gaī, manameṃ nahīṃ pravāha jisa manameṃ saṃtoṣa hai, vahī śahenaśāha
‘Chah’ means desire. When desires disappear, there is no thought in one’s mind. That person is truly contented whose mind has no flow of thoughts. he who has contentment is a king or ‘Shahenshah’.
५ फ़़िकि सबकधो खा गई, निकि जगतका पीि जधो फ़़िकि का िाका किे, उसका िाम िकीि।
phaikara sabako khā gaī, phikara jagatakā pīra jo phaikara kā phākā kare, usakā nāma phakīra,
Thoughts destroy men. The person who is able to destroy those miserable thoughts is the real Fakir or saint.
६ जीव ईश कधो एक धि, (एक या भेख?), सबमें बतले आप में एक दूसिा तू, यही द्ैत संताप
jīva īśa ko eka dhara, sabameṃ barte āpa meṃ eka dūsarā tū, yahī dvaita saṃtā
The Jiva (creatures) and God are not separate because Paramatman has manifested himself everywhere. i am one and God is separate, such a thought of duality is the reason of woes.
