११ यद्यनप अवलंबि तबिा, मि मुषा मुिझाय तवषयावलम्बि तवपिीत िल, स्वरूपावलंबि सुखदाय
yadyapi avalaṃbana binā, mana muṣā murajhāya viṣayāvalambana viparīta phala, svarūpāvalaṃbana sukhadāya
The mind always needs support without which it is like a languorous rat. if the mind is attached to worldly affairs, the state of mind will decline thus having an opposite effect. Therefore with the support of Aatmarup the mind’s filth is removed and its fruit is pleasant.
१२ जधो पिक्षे सवजिकधो, ताकधो लखाय िा क़धोई दीपक घट हीं कधो प्रकाशे, घट दीप िहीं जधोइ
jo parakṣe sarvako, tāko lakhāya nā kaoī
dīpaka ghaṭa hīṃ ko prakāśe, ghaṭa dīpa nahīṃ joi
No one notices The One who illuminates everything. The lamp illuminates the pot but it does not occur vice-versa. Brahma Chaitanya manifests in all Indrias (sense organs) but not vice-versa.
१३ चा’ चूहरि, चा’ चमहािी, चा’ िीचंद्क िीच, चा’ िा हधोती बीचमें तधो साक्षात् थे ईश
cā’ cūhari, cā’ camahārī, cā’ nīcaṃki nīca, cā’ nā hotī bīcameṃ to sākṣāt the īśa
Desire is like a female scavenger and Chandal. One whose mind is removed from desires will have the attributes of shiva or Brahman.
१४ कत्रा भधोक्ा देह है, यही जीव का रूप जब कत्रा आपे िहीं केवल लशवस्वरूप
kartā bhoktā deha hai, yahī jīva kā rūpa jaba kartā āpe nahīṃ kevala śivasvarūpa
The body is mine, so i am the master, i am the consumer,—this is the thought of ‘Jiva’. When this feeling or intellect is completely abandoned, Jiva became shiva.
