satata brahma abhyāsase, mala vikṣepa ko nāśa jñāna driḍha nirvāsanā, jīvanamukti paribhāsa
Distraction and impurity of the mind are lost by regular meditation on the Brahman. Knowledge of consciousness arises. The mind is freed from all kinds of weakness because of the destruction of the desires. Thus one can attain liberation in one’s life.
ko kahe duḥkha dariyā, ko kahe sukha saṃsāra meṃ, nahīṃ kaṭu madhura svāda, mṛga tṛṣṇāke nīra meṃ
some say there are many kinds of happiness in this world, while others say that the world is like a sea of misery. in the desert, the deer rushes to the place where the sunrays create an illusion of water. happiness or sorrow in this world is just an illusion of the mind.
bhoga āsa marubhūmivata, tṛpti kinhu na pāya; śāṃti sukha gavāeke, bhavame phira bhavāya,
The hope of enjoyment is like a desert. Jiva can never gain satis- faction through it. We abandon true peace and happiness only to return to the earth through the cycle of birth and death.
kahāṃ īśatā, jīvata pūraṇa, ciddhana bhāna, choṭī moṭī lahara, jala satata banate āna
Jiva and God are not really different. all are Brahman. The rivers are not different from the waves. The waves are the Jiva and the river is God.
