getting restless. Once my elder sister was badly in search of a Guru from among great many sages at Prayag and being in vain she came to the Kailash and fervently prayed to Baba to be allowed to be initiated by him. and Baba, in stead of refusing her, condescended to initiate her. One of the Bengali disciples of Baba told her, “Didi was the Queen first and now she is a goddess.” True it is, without a doubt.
On being ardently appealed by Pratibhanath, Baba initiated him and his wife.
in course of a discussion we heard, Baba can remain afloat on water. in order to see how he can remain afloat, we all ran outdoors. What we saw was that Baba, in a state of padmasan, having both of his hands raised upto his head, getting all his fingers entangled with one another, remained afloat (in a state of prostration). he remained there in that state for a long period. The light that had illuminated the palace for three consecutive days got extinguished. The palace that got resonant with the chantings of shlokas, stotras, chantings and songs from the Vedas, the Vedanta and the Gita got deprived of it.
Then and then only did i realize what the human soul is in need of. soul needs nothing—enjoyment, luxury or prosperity; it instead seeks soul—it seeks to see, to know and to love itself. a Fakir, a pennyless sage in koupin, the king of kings, with all his
