the canopy. Bouquets of flowers were kept in vases which were placed at vantage points and an innumerable number of incense sticks were burning all around. The whole of the ashrama was all smiles, fragrance and joy. The avadhoot Maharaj cordially held the hands of his uniquely eminent guest and made him sit on the costly carpet and garlanded him with all piety. Many a disciple of both these great men and a good many sages and sannyasins had come to the ashram from far and near with a view to witnessing the holy union of these two noble souls, thereby making themselves highly blessed by hearing their supremely holy words. By seeing their bright and highly powerful faces, we all felt richly rewarded. One can sit atop a deer-skin but not on a tiger-skin. Like that day (at the Kailashashram), today too hordes of disciples and devotees assembled at the ashram at Karnibag with a view to seeing the Kailashpati. it was past noon. Within moments, the motor of the Kailashpati entered the ashram. he was accompanied by swami shrutanandaji, Prakashji and many other devotees. shri shri Guru Maharaj accorded him a warm welcome and made him sit on the
