having heard these words of sadhu Baba, the youngest Pundit who had recently been conferred a gold medal said, “if one happens to be a scholar on scriptures as well as a sage, what would happen?”
answer: Nothing can be better than that. if sugar-candy is mixed with cow-milk, it becomes a highly delicious drink.
again a question was raised, “What is to be practiced?”
answer: Does one have the opportunity of having to see the Queen of the royal inner apartment if she does not happen to be one of that apartment? Only one who has that potentiality deserves to be enlightened about it.
Everyone present in that religious discussion was too absorbed to follow the passage of time. Evening drew near. Lest there should be any problem at night, specially with regard to the old sage, named swami shrutananda, to catch the train to Jasidih, sadhu Baba uttered ‘harihar’ and stood up. shri shri Guru Maharaj too stood up to bid farewell to Baba. Then both of them embraced each other in a gesture of love and reverence. Before boarding the motor-bus, Baba told shri shri Guru Maharaj, that since the Kumbh Mela was scheduled to be held in Vaisakh in 1340 at Ujjain and that preparations were to be done well in advance, he was leaving Jasidih for Ujjain by train the next morning. if ‘Ram Nivas’ i.e. if any sannyasin of that ashram like to go to the Kumbh Mela either in Chaitra or Vaisakh and would like to be his guest, then he would be glad to accord him a warm welcome and would do everything possible for his stay there. after that Baba, in company with his followers, got on the motor-bus and again uttered ‘harihar’ in a sweet, soft voice. The motor-bus ran for the station at Deogarh.
