aVedanti’s (atma) soul leaves the body. When the soul is in the body it says i am not the Body, i am not the Mind, i am not the intellect. i am the atma now uniting with the Paramatma. For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. he has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being....
Late Ramesh Munshi received summons from Gurudev shri Paramhans hansdevji avadhoot who was in Jasidih to rush to Jasidih from Mumbai. he went immediately to Jasidih, met Gurudev and had his last Darshan. What transpired between the two of them Guru and Chela (Disciple) we do not know.
Gurudev at 123 years of age knew that his body was failing and he should let the soul leave it. Gurudev went for a wilful Maha Samadhi. he went into his closed room, reduced his meals, then stopped them and had only water till he breathed his last at 09.30 am on april 17, 1960. The Divine Breath of the holy saint was out of the Body.
