those people appointed him a valuer of jewels and ornaments in his jewellery shop. Within a short span of time, the jeweller not only won the confidence of his master but also helped to flourish the jewellery shop, as a result of which he was taken to be a joint partner. When the master, who was without an issue/ heir, passed away, the jeweller became the sole owner of the jewellery shop, earned a huge amount of money and was restored to his former status.
Quite often it is seen, the sages despite being very old are without any physical pains and illness. it is probably because of self-mortification and brahmacharya. Our Baba, despite being quite old, was more strong and stout than many young men. The very look of his bold and bright physique with slow as well as long steady gait revealed that he had had no physical ailments or illness. Curious, we asked our Baba about it and in reply said he, “Dear mother, yes i have had illness and diseases. But least concerned am i about them.” We asked once again, “You being all alone, who serves you, i mean, who attends on you then?” “i need no medicine, nor any attention. When the spell of fever is over, i feel free,” said he in reply to our query.
as for ourselves, we have all but faith in us. We can hardly go beyond this transitory world and so we are to have faith in the doctors and their prescribed medicines.
We have been enjoying the company of our Baba for months and years on end. But never ever have we seen him perturbed.
