What do you want from me, dear?” in reply, said the Bheel King, “i want nothing, now that you have addressed me as your friend, it is more than enough for me. and if you feel like offering me something, then dear friend, do only one favour, do hasten to me whenever i will call you.” With a beaming face, shankar made him the promise and while embracing him restored his lost eye.

Once sadhu Baba was explaining to a woman that whatever the Lord has gifted us through his blessings might be taken away by him, if one uses it dishonestly. Giving an example he said that once a king being pleased with a person gave him a garden of sandalwood. But that man did not properly utilise the sandalwood but cut the trees to convert them into fuel. The king being angry with the man took away the garden that he had given. The summary of Baba’s advice was that whatever God has given us in the form of health, intellect, reasoning and other things will be taken away from us by him if we do not properly utilise it for better purposes.
i have seen Baba sitting in the open space wearing a cotton “Alfie” (Long dress) during extreme cold days. Even during very hot days i have seen Baba sitting there with the extreme sun rays around. Once with a lot of curiosity i had asked Baba whether he found summer and winter the same. Baba replied with a smile that sadhus are used to all sorts of things.
We used to question him a lot but never found him to be irritated. Once we were curious to know about Baba’s childhood but he was not interested to tell it. he only said that he had renounced
