was he. in no time he ascended to heaven and informed Vishnu, saying “i have never seen such an excellent boy. The boy, despite being adversely circumstanced, embodies infinite joy. he makes no prayer, nor desires; he is only continuously chanting Harinam”. after having informed Vishnu, Narada hastened to Brahmaloka and the Kailash. Within a short while, Vishnu, Brahma and Maheshwar, accompanied by Narada, came down to Haribola. Vishnu said, “Dear boy, i am the creator of this world, you can therefore pray for any boon and i am prepared to grant it forthwith.”
“i need nothing,” said Haribola. as Brahma wished to offer a boon, the boy said, “i have no prayer to make.”
as Maheshwar said, “i am ready to offer you all the three heavens or the throne of indra. Tell me the boon you want.”
in reply, the boy said, “i need no boon from you all. i am destined to have things preordained, and i am happy with it.”
The boy was without greed and desires and over and above all he was ever happy. This is what made the three Gods happy. Being satisfied, Vishnu blessed, “Be a normal human being.” Brahma offered his boon, “Be highly handsome and be endowed with virtues of every kind.” and Mahadev’s benison was, “i bless you to be a King.”
The handicapped boy became a normal human being, having a handsome physique. and the three Gods disappeared.
The boy then left the place. But Fate liked to have him enthroned so early that on that very day he came across a great King. The King, out for a hunt, lost his way and his companions in the forest. he chanced upon that young boy. The youthful vigour, bright complexion and semi-nude state of the boy highly impressed the King. Who is this boy in this desolate forest? May be, he is the son of a god. a human being can hardly be as handsome as he. Out of curiosity, the King called the boy close to him. Being happy with how the boy had talked with him, the King verily wished to have his only daughter married to the young boy. The King having no son, the boy became the only heir to the throne. shortly after he was married to the King’s daughter young Haribola ascended to the throne.
