Earlier i had mentioned about Mahatma shrutanandaji but had not given any introduction about him. What can be an introduction about a sadhu? his saffron clothing is not his intro-
duction but his knowledge and renunciation. he is a Bramachari all through his life. he had an apathy for life all through but had to live with his old mother till the age of forty as he was unable to turn down her sincere request. During this span of time he mastered Vedanta Shastra. he left home after his mother passed away. Mahatma Trailangya swami too went through the same circumstances. after his Diksha (initiation) from his Guru, shrutanandaji spent nine years of his life under his guidance and even served him with his heart and soul. his Guru loved him as his child as he was devoted to him. after his Guru passed away, he started his pilgrimage on foot thus touring for twelve to thirteen years at various holy places. he would not stay at any place for long. Lately he has been dwelling at Jasidih. he said that earlier he had noticed shri shri hansdevji Maharaj at various places on his holy expeditions but hansdevji Maharaj had not. after a long time it was a good opportunity for them to meet. shrutanandaji said that shri shri hansdevji Maharaj practised ascetic austerity
