Babaji we made our obeisance and started our journey towards our residence. he again started reading his books on Vedanta under the scorching rays of the sun. They had by nature learnt to adapt to all seasons-summer or winter. Babaji was a great scholar. a true sadhu never wastes even a single moment.
Babaji also said that virtue accumulated through the result of Nishkam Karma created from many births leads to Vairagya later. he also said,” Full faith and intense veneration is the same. There is no difference between the two. he had also said—a fakir named Bulasa questioned his guru—“Khuda ko kaise pana?” Guru—“Idharse hatana, udhar lagana.” it means that there is only one way to gain the grace of God that is to remove the mind from the worldly things and to turn it towards him. aversion towards worldly affairs and yearning for God is needed.
Second Taranga
after the sharadiya Puja in Bangabda 1334 (1928aD) we went to Jasidih but saw that the Kailash was without his divine light because the King of the Kailash had gone on an invitation to the place of one of his devotees at Bharuch. The name of his devotee was sri Chandulal Desai, a renowned physician. highly educated at home and abroad, he had earned a lot of money. at last he had renounced all his wealth and properties for a philanthropic cause, and had become a real sannyasin. he had set up a charitable dispensary on the Narmada, and a dental care centre. Failing to avoid the fervent appeal of such a samaritan to inaugurate the said dispensary, our Baba had gone to Bharuch.
By the end of Kartik (November), Baba returned to the Kailash. By that time, we were about to leave for home. Owing to familial reason, we had to return home without further delay. We had met
